Dear Friends,

I want to take this time to wish you the happiest of New Years filled with good health and cheer.

As we begin 2012, I'd like to thank all of our visitors for making VisitMilbridge.com a success.  At the time of writing, we are just 350 visits short of 30,000!

When I began publishing VisitMilbridge.com in June 2010, I had no idea how popular this site would become. In November 2010, I began to track our web statistics.  Since that time I've learned that visitors to the VisitMilbridge.com site come not only from Milbridge and Maine, but from all over the United States, Canada, Europe and Japan

One of the other astonishing things I've learned since publishing this site is that many of the people who visit our site are looking for local vacation rental accommodation and lodging.  As a result, we will be adding a section for vacation home owners and innkeepers to advertise their properties.  Look for this new feature soon!

I'd also like to take this time to thank Ora Aselton for her monthly contributions to this online magazine.  Her columns are always a delight to read and the recipes that she shares with us are terrific.  Please be sure to read this month's recipe for a breakfast smoothie that is sure to get your new year off to a fit and fighting start.

We've made a few changes to our site and added some pages including local weather and tide charts that might be of interest to our readers.  We've also added an events calendar that makes it easier for us to keep you posted with all of the happenings in our area.

I would also like to take this time to thank our advertising sponsors for all of their financial support.  With their help we can continue to keep this site up and running so that you all can VisitMilbridge.com anytime and from anywhere!

We hope you enjoy our site and look forward to seeing you back here soon.

Best regards,

Mary Spence
